Stila Waterproof liquid eyeliner

Hey all!~

liquid eyeliner colour in Starry

Swatrch on eye (2 coats of eyeliner)

Starry eye is a shimmery grey coloured liquid eyelinr. A great substitute for black liquid eyeliner to define your eyes.

Pros:
- waterproof  (FYI not all liquid eyeliner are smudge proof and waterproof)
- the firm tip of the sponge applicator makes it super easy to apply
- dries really quickly
- it does not sting your eye when you apply it close to your waterline

Cons:
- the formula is not very opaque, you need 2 coats in order for it to look opaque
- NEVER uncap the eyeliner and tilt the bottle, the liquid will spill out from the bottle

Other Stila makeup review:
 - Stila lip glaze

Clinique - black honey almost lipstick and lipgloss duo

Hey all!~

Clinique almost lipstick in black honey came out a really long time ago (last year) but I would still like to do a review on this. This may benefit those who are not familiar with clinique almost lipstick product. I doubt the  almost lipstick and gloss duo can be found at clinique counters now, but you could check out at clinique stores if you are really interested in this product.

Rather recently this year, clinique launched a series of almost lipstick in various shades apart from black honey.
I have tested other almost lipstick shades but they all seem not very impressive as they are either too sheer or the colours look pretty normal. I personally feel black honey is the best.

It seriously look that dark but don't be intimidated by the strong colour

Picture taken in front of a table lamp

Pros:
- very moisturising
- the gloss provided on the other end does not feel sticky on the lips
- it is not too sheer, neither is too dark
- it is almost like a universal colour, will suit several skin tones

Cons:
- it is not long lasting
- does not work like a lip stain, you have to touch up after you eat and drink

Overall, I think this may be more suitable to those who are not very comfortable wearing lipsticks or are starting to wear lipsticks.

Blog update on past post

Hi all!~

I will be very busy with school work for the next few weeks so I may not post as frequent. If you have read my past post, some of the lipstick products that I had reviewed in the past do not have pictures of it swatched on  my lips so I will be trying to do that now.

So far I have done Canmake Creamy touch lipstick and you canview it here:

Bourjois Lip Stick Haul!~

Hi All!~

I am currently raving Bourjois makeup products since I got in the UK, and it all started with the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation (freakin long name). So I got a couple of Spring/ Summer-ish coloured  lipsticks because the rest of the lipsticks that I purchased last time have a deeper berry tone to it. Well I did still get a deeper shade amongst the few lipsticks because I was so blind that I FORGOT TO CHECK THE COLOUR CODE! Lesson to learn, never take for granted where the testers are placed.

Colour: Rose Cachemire (82)

Swatch on lips

Colour: Rose Corset (46)

Swatch on lips

Colour: Rose Delicat

Swatch on lips
Description of each colour:

Rose Cashmere: A pastel peachy pink colour, has really fine glitter pigments in it, has a semi-matte finish

Roe Corset: A solid bright pink with an orangey tone in it, has a semi-matte finish

Rose Delicate: A solid maroon-ish reddish colour, has a semi-matte finish

Overall review on all 3 lipsticks:

Pros:
- all colours are wearable

Cons:
- they are not long wearing
- cause my lips to feel dry once the lip colour wears out

Have a great weekend and thank you for reading!~

Stila custom colour blush self adjusting coral

Hi All!~

Stila is now avaliable in Sephora in Singapore! Yay! With respect to that, I will be posting a few more reviews on the other stila products that I had purchased and tried soon.

Custom colour blush self adjusting coral

A bit of shimmer in the blush powder but they do not transfer when you apply them on your face
Swatch of the blusher, I did blend it in a little too

Don't be intimidated by the crazily bright coloured blush powder. The colour will change according to your skin's pH level after applying. Since it is highly pigmented, lightly tap your brush on the powder and tap off any excess powder from the brush.

Pros:
- super pigmented
- long wearing, barely needs any touch up after long hours wearing it (even in Singpore's hot and humid
  weather)
- the colour will look natural
- if you are not a fan of shimmery blushers, this will work out great because the shimmer does not transfer
- this product will last you a really really long time

Seche Vite Fasting drying Top Coat

Hi All!~

Just a really short post to express my love for Seche Vite nail polish. I am into my second bottle now! It is really rare for me to by a same nail polish (regardless whatever that it) twice. I finished my first bottle in about 3-4 months and I paint my nails about 1-2 times a week so it did last quite a bit =) You could get it at a cheaper price from fleas. I got my first bottle at abt sgd $15 from a flea at NUS. However over in the UK, I purchased my from ASOS.com at 10.95 pounds (but had 20% student discount so not that bad) as I could not find it anywhere else in the place where I am staying.

Loving:
- dries really really quick
- has a really nice glossy look

Dislike:
- not a hard core long wearing top coat (taking into consideration that I have to cook and clean frequently)
about 3 days before it chips a bit

Trying to find a cheaper substitute in the future probably Relvon quick dry nail polish or try some other brands. Will keep you all updated once I have found one =)

Bourjois Spring Collection 2012 nail polish

Hi All!~

Colour is in number 26  (just a colour code)

With one coat of polish applied

I was really attracted to the display at boujour counter at Boots because it is so freakin sweet looking. Though all products from the spring collection look really pretty, I only purchased the nail purple pink-ish nail polish because I feel that it is more unique looking than the coral coloured polish.

It has a really wide brush, applies really quickly and easily. It is very pigmented, only required 1-2 coats. On the downside, it not really as long wearing as what it claims to be.
