Sleek Mini Haul swatches

Hi All!~

Ultra Mattes Darks Palette

Oh So Special

Blush in 'Pixe Pink' colour

I have been using some of the eyeshadow colours recently, 'The Mail' and the pink shadows from Oh so special palette and 'Thunder' and 'Flesh" form the Dark Matte palatte. 'The Mail' and 'Flesh' are great for the crease area and to blend out the ends of the eyeshadow. All in all, all of the colours are really pigmented except for 'Fern' from the Dark Matte palette. The texture of the shadows varies quite a bit. Some of the eye shadows such as 'Highness', 'Noir' and 'Fern' feels more chalky, 'Organza' and 'Gateau' have a more creamy like texture (but they are not cream shadows). Sleek's metallic, more shimmery eye shadows in general feels more creamy, making it easier to blend as compared to the matte ones. Using these eye shadows with a good eye primer such as Urban decay primer potion or Too faced shadow insurance would help your eye makeup last for a much longer time.

Sleek blush are very pigmented and its texture feels really good, however the range of colours seems to be concentrated towards bright colours or bark colours, they dont have many lighter coloured blushers, but I am still loving their blush.  =)

Loreal Causse Rogue

Hi all!~
Top: Rebel Red (401), Bottom: Lovely Rose (03)
Swatches: rebel red (left), lovely rose (right)

Rebel red

Lovely rose

Pros:
- smells yummy, kinna like candy
- I kinna like the design of the packaging and it does not feel very cheap and plastic-ky

Cons:
- when the lipstick starts to wear out, you lips may feel more dry
- sheer colour, almost like a tinted lipbalm to me
- not long wearing, you have to consistantly reapply it
- if your lips are really dry, the product would tend to accumulate on the dead skin on your lips (exfoliate
before using this, if you intend to
- you can finish the product pretty quickly if you reapply it often

All in all I wouldn't reccomend this because I feel that the revlon lip butters are much much better than these.I have gotten a few lip butters recently so I will be doing a review on it soon =)

After doing lots of different makeup only posts, I have decided to do a review on brushes, prolly will have more upcoming posts on other brushes that I use regularly.

For only 1usd, these brushes are super amazing. If you are very new to makeup tools and do not want to spend a bomb on it, you could try ELF brushes as they are uber cheap and still works well.
I have owned this brushes for a really long time, about 4-5 years and even after trying other types of eyeshadow brushes (I mean affortable eyeshadow brushes) I still tend to use ELF these two elf eyeshadow brushes. These brushes are from the main collection

ELF eye shadow brush is used to apply eyeshadow all over the lid area and ELF blending brush is used to blend your eyeshadow or can be used to apply a contour colour at the eye socket area.

Pros:
- have soft and firm bristles (but not as fantastic as high end ones)
- bristles are very densily packed
- able to apply eyeshadow colour very quickly with it and the blending brush is able to blend well without
feeling like something is scratching your skin
- brushes do not smell

Cons:
- it may shead on the first few times but it will be fine after a while
- ELF brushes may not be of consistant quality, sometimes the brush quality may differ

Do note that not all elf brushes are good especially from the main collection, I have purchased overall face powder brush, angled blusher brush and a smudge brush in the past and all of them sucked really really bad. I have yet to try the studio collection eye shadow brushes but did purchase two face brushes recently. I may do a review on it in the future.

I think ELF brushes in the UK in more expensive than in the US, to check out more:
